FAQ
Were you wondering something? Here’s a list of questions we get asked by couples, brands and more.
What would you say is your cinematography style? +
Here at Blu Joose we like to combine documentary with a hints of cinematic. We like to capture your big day as it happened while still giving a little bit of direction. We are here to make you look even more incredible than you already do. We're able to transition from hanging in the background to turning you into the stars of your own romantic film. You are the heart and soul of every film we create. Every is inspried by the couple - music, structure, tone and so much more! It's all your personality and story.
How many hours of coverage will I get? +
All of our packages include up to 10 hours of coverage. This is how much time we typically need to capture everything we need to tell your story. Need more time? We do offer extended packages in certain situations.
When can I expect to recieve my final package? +
We will have a draft of your film available for you to check over within 4-6 weeks. Your highlight film package will be sent to you within 6-8 weeks from the day of your wedding. Full documentary packages can take up to 6 months to fully complete.
How will my package be delivered? +
Just like Christmas morning you will recieve your final films via an actual package! We love that we can deliver the highest quality possible when dealing with physical USBs. Also it gives us the chance to give you a little bonus gift as well - just for becoming part of our Blu Joose family.
Do you split up? +
We can split up in the morning to cover the bride and groom getting ready, but we prefer not to. Having the full team capturing you getting ready at the same time means more angles, which means more dynamic footage, double the coverage at each location. All of which we think is worth accomodating into your schedule!
What kind of gear do we use? +
We have a lot in our box of toys. We could talk forever about all of our gear, but here's a simple run down. We shoot on top of the line Canon cinema cameras with their complimentary L series lenses. We also use Manfrotto tripods and monopods. And for those magical floating shots we use a Ronin RS2 gimbal.
